Compulsory insurance
Colinas Rent A Car has contracted and in effect an insurance policy in the vehicles provided that covers the civil responsibility of the driver(s) of the rented vehicle for personal and material damages suffered by third parties due to the circulation of the vehicle.

- 24-hour Travel Assistance;
- C. D. W. Insurance (Own Damage Waiver with Minimum Deductible depending on the car rental group) *;
* exempt from I. V. A. under art. 9, n º. 28 of C. I. V. A.
- Under this insurance, own damage is also insured up to certain limits, with a minimum excess required depending on the vehicle group hired.
- The limits of liability covered by the insurance are, as a minimum, those laid down on a mandatory basis in current legislation.
- It is always necessary a deposit as security, which guarantees the value of the franchise, this value may vary depending on the vehicle, so we have schematized below the values of the respective categories of vehicles.

I.C.D.W. - Intermediate Collision Damage Waiver
Reduces the value of the minimum deductible by 50%. This coverage has an additional cost in the daily rate. This value varies depending on the group hired.
Notice:
When you hire the I.C.D.W. you are obliged to pay a deposit with a credit card for any administrative costs, fuel, damages (partly or wholly depending on the amount), etc. resulting from the use of the vehicle during the rental period.

2 - Colinas Rent A Car reserves the right to decline accidents and/or damages not reported to the Police Authorities.
E.C.D.W. - Extra Collision Damage Waiver
Reduces the value of the minimum deductible by 75%. This coverage has an additional cost in the daily rate. This value varies depending on the group hired.
When you hire the E.C.D.W. you are obliged to pay a deposit with a credit card for any administrative costs, fuel, damages (partly or wholly depending on the amount), etc. arising from the use of the vehicle during the hire period.
